EMERY COUNTY, Utah (KUTV) — 11 of the 13 dogs found dumped in a Utah desert have been rescued.
A pair of tourists in the San Rafael Swell in Emery County have been working to keep the dogs alive until a dog trapper could catch the final two this weekend.
Trisha Anderson, who runs “Trusted Trappers,” said the last couple of dogs are always the hardest to reach. She said the dogs can be skittish because they’ve seen the rest get captured.

According to Anderson, dogs get dumped in that area “quite often.”
She said the tourists were the right people to come across the dogs and did everything right to help them.
“They’ve been doing awesome,” she said.
