PHILADELPHIA – One person was hurt when investigators say they were attacked by a group of dogs Thursday night in Philadelphia.
One of the dogs was captured and four still remain on the loose, animal welfare workers told FOX 29.
The attack happened around midnight on Greenland Drive in West Philadelphia. One officer fired his weapon, but no dogs were hit.
A trap has been set near the intersection of Greenland and Chamounix drives in hopes of humanely corralling the dogs.
Authorities have urged people to avoid the area of the attack and not to approach the dogs.
